This is a very deep amber Scottish Ale. It has a medium body, off white head, malty aroma and flavor with hints of spicy notes from the hops and a very high alcohol content. This kit includes the finest malts and hops needed to make 5-Gallons of tasty brew. Yeast is purchased separately. We recommend the Edinburg Scottish Ale WLP028. A packet of 5 oz of priming sugar for carbonation and a packet of Irish moss are also included with this kit. This kit comes with complete and detailed instructions that are easy to read and follow. You will need to own all grain homebrewing equipment to brew this ingredient kit. We recommend using a yeast starter for this high alcohol beer as we do with all high alcohol beers.
