Well crafted stainless piece does exactly what its supposed to. Wrapped with plumbers tape and placed in a 1/2" mpt ball valve, it allowed for a perfectly sealed fit for tubing between my kettle and counterflow chiller. No leaks or issues with craftsmanship.
